Summary This report is built on unfinished priorities from the 2016–2021 plan, new legislative requirements, input from Indigenous governments/organizations, and a 2021 public survey. It defines 5 priority outcomes, 19 objectives, and 27 milestones to be achieved collaboratively with Indigenous partners and other stakeholders.
Local Relevance HLHP 2023–2028 is a collaborative roadmap for strengthening conservation in the Northwest Territories, with Indigenous leadership and sustainable funding at its core.
