Summary | The Expedition ARA08C was a highly multi-disciplinary international undertaking in the southern Beaufort Sea, carried out as a collaboration between the Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI), the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC), and the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI). These research activities took place over a period of 22 days (August 26 to September 16, 2017) on the KOPRI icebreaker RV Araon. This is the third expedition for the RV Araon in the Canadian Beaufort Sea, and builds upon research expeditions in 2013 and 2014. |
