(NEL), working with the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT), has completed the following business case study (the Study), funded by Natural Resources Canada (CERRC program), to examine and outline the conditions for the supply of barge-delivered wood pellets (biomass) to be a cost-effective and cleaner heating fuel option in 12 remote communities along, or in the vicinity of, the Mackenzie River.
