Wilfrid Laurier University researchers created and tested a new method to map land cover types – such as forests, bogs and fens – in the headwaters of the Scotty Creek basin.

This document outlines a workshop in Fort Simpson, part of a series of regional workshops held to gather input on the climate change and energy strategies being developed in 2017.

This plan was developed to provide practical and operational wildland/urban risk mitigation strategies to reduce the threat of wildfire to the community of Fort Simpson.
