Summary This Open File Report summarizes permafrost field activities undertaken jointly by Canadian and German researchers from August 13 to September 09, 2018. The field work was conducted in the Mackenzie Delta area along the Inuvik-Tuktoyaktuk Highway corridor and near the community of Tuktoyaktuk (Fig. 2). While the results we present are preliminary in nature, it is our goal to detail the research we have undertaken together and to provide guidance on our plans to release our field data sets.
Local Relevance This report summarizes fieldwork permafrost mapping activities of researchers in 2018 in the Beaufort Delta, NWT.
