Summary This discussion paper will help to direct efforts of the GNWT’s Department of Environment and Climate Change Wildlife Management Division to identify a vision, goals, and guiding principles for wildlife conservation and management in a changing climate; Better understand climate change risks and impacts (positive and negative) on wildlife and their habitats; and Identify and prioritize actions for mitigating and adapting to climate change impacts on wildlife, their habitats, and the people and communities that rely on them.
